2024 Lauren Holiday Impact Award

Details from the NWSL (Sept. 3, 2024)

"The Lauren Holiday Impact Award, presented by Nationwide, honors the ongoing example of excellence and commitment set by the two-time Olympic gold medalist, FIFA Women’s World Cup champion, National Soccer Hall of Fame inductee, and recipient of the Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian ESPY Award."

"The Award Focuses on and Celebrates the Community Involvement of the 14 Player Nominees."

* One player is nominated from each club. The winner, selected by a voting panel, receives a $30,000 prize that will go to a "charitable organization of their choice."

* In addition to the panel vote, there will be a fan vote. The fan vote winner will receive $5,000 to "designate to a charitable organization of their choice, with an additional $5,000 awarded to the community partner."

Finally, each team will host an appreciation night match where they will showcase their nominee and the local community organization they have collaborated on a service project with.
