NWSL's Impact on the Inaugural Concacaf W Gold Cup

The USWNT won the first-ever Concacaf W Gold Cup (March 10, 2024) against Brazil (1-0) at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego.


All but two players on the starter and sub lists compete in the NWSL. You’ll notice that NJ/NY Gotham FC takes the lead with the number of players participating at seven (you can read more on that from Urvi here.)


This is the last big match before the NWSL season kicks off unofficially with the Challenge Cup on Friday, March 15, and officially with matches across the country on Saturday.
